I began my photography journey in 1987. Mostly self-taught, I took photography classes in college. Over the years my work has been featured in Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine, Virginia Wildlife, The Wilderness Society and Virginia is for Lovers Travel Guide along with Photographers Forum "Best of Spring" and "Best of College" Annuals.

Galleries on this site represent over 10 years of my photography experience. Images are for sale offered at various print sizes. Custom printing is available just contact me for sizes and prices.

My philosophy about photography is quite simple. "Be" in the moment. For me photography enriches my experience with nature. I believe that the more a person can become fully "aware" of their environment the more likely their picture will reflect what he or she was "feeling" when taking the picture.

I live in Colorado with my wife Tonya and son Brodie exploring the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains.
